Description

These views onto the villa, its grounds and olive grove are sufficient to give you an idea of the level of quality the owners wish to maintain. There is plenty of room for the children to play as well as ideal road connections to all major sites and cities. Easy day trips to Rome, Florence, Siena, Montepulciano, Perugia.....alternatively you may choose to lounge by the pool or go for a horse ride at the local club (1mile away). The coast is also very near.

General Information The villa is fully equipped. Extra intra-week cleaning service is available on request Food shopping is available at 5 minutes drive away into the village of Ficulle, which offers all amenities. Alternatively, Orvieto is a few minutes drive further and being a large town has anything you may care to look for (you know what I mean).

The Area

The area is surprisingly unaffected by tourism, meaning that prices and food are still 'genuine'. Certainly ideal to those who wish to go on holiday abroad with a family.

All the well known sites are within the easiest reach: Florence, Assisi, Rome, Monte Pulciano, San Giminiano, Perugia, Todi and Siena are but a few. Orvieto with its world renouwned wines and cathedral is a stone's throw away. There are a huge number of sites to be visited in the near vicinity and it is not unusual for visitors to rebook a second stay in order to visit all that they realise they have missed first time round.

Travel: A car is necessary.

	The bedrooms are beautifully furnished. Look at the bed head!	The bathrooms have the same level of attention to detail...
	Beautiful interior decoration even in the kitchen/dining room.		The lawns and landscape are well kept.
Sitting outside for some fresh air....	looking at the pool and cypress trees....	and wow what a pool!
Orvieto is but a stone's throw away and hardly requires any introduction either:		For me the important point is that the bedrooms are all extremely well kept, spacious and comfortable. A holiday is about a rest after all....
		What more could you ask for?
The local wines have been renowned since Roman times and it is also possible to visit some of the local vineyards (by appointment).
